Description:

SENSECOM-CMNT reads registers from 1-32 connected devices (metering or sensor types)  with RS485 interface using MODBUS protocol and sends data via a nationwide NB-IoT network. Powered by a rechargeable battery with occasional charging with a USB-C charger, or permanently with a USB-C charger, or with an external 5-24V DC power supply.

Device inputs/outputs:

• RS485- A, B, GND
• EXT PWR IN - optional power source 5-24V for metering device or sensor power supply
• PWR OUT - optional controlled power output for metering device or sensor power supply (internal 3-4V or external 5-24V)

Basic features:

• Memory (datalogger) for least 1500 readouts
• E2E encryption with AES-256 possible
• > 12 months without battery recharging (with 2 transmissions and 2-12 readouts a day), Chargeable or permanently connected to USB-C 
• Built in antenna (see also optional model with SMA connector for external antenna)
• small casing with IP20 protection
• Rechargeable battery (USB-C charger) 1-2 times per year (for e.g. 2-3 readings/transfers per day), or continuously powered by USB-C adapter for frequent readings (e.g. 15min intervals). 
• Communication to the nationwide IoT network NB-IoT, NB-IoT coverage.
• Select optional multi-user multi-year flat rate for SENSEPARAM portal to access processed data, sending callbacks to your server, etc. or process data directly from NB-IoT UDP packets.

Advanced features:

• Power up connected meters/sensors with pre-trig (readouts performed after meter/sensor is powered with set time-lag) by internal or external (5-24V) battery
• manipulation detection (accelerometer)
• T/RH/Pressure sensor for connected sensors calibrations/compensations

• Daily power consumption/supply monitoring, daily profile monitoring, volume-based monitoring or tracking.
• Monthly pre-payments adjustments, monthly/seasoning payments based on actual consumption.
